"I'll be at the Caz Carnival tonight (in my mind)  I remember how it used to rain every year during the carnival.  There was always such a "buzz" around South Buffalo when it was going on. Then it wouldn't be long before Caz pools would be

open. Remember the slippery feeling of the floors in the changing room at the pools?  Remember how we'd run thru the freezing cold shower before going in to the pool? Remember how high the high board was and how cold the water was in that pool? Remember  how the water would spray out of those big faucet things when they were filling the big pool? Remember putting your hands over the fountain in the baby pool and stopping the water from spraying out (and getting in trouble for it)  Or how the concrete seats at the baby pool are at an angle & really uncomfortable to sit on. Remember going to Twin Fair to buy nose plugs or a scuba mask?  Remember swinging so high on the swings at the playground that you thought you would flip right over?  Especially if someone was pushing you. Or the first time you rode your bike down that dirt path that took you to the small hanging bridge on the golf course.
